- 4 chicken breasts – equal in size
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp dried thyme – or italian seasoning
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, dried thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika together until well combined.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help the seasoning stick. Brush the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375℉ for 5 minutes. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, flip the chicken breasts and continue cooking for another 10 minutes, ensuring an internal temperature of 165℉ is reached.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Make sure the chicken breasts are of equal size for even cooking.
Resting the chicken after cooking helps retain moisture for a juicier result.
