  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and let the chicken thighs come to room temperature.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel to remove moisture.
  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, kosher salt, and black pepper to create the seasoning mix.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken with the olive oil and two-thirds of the seasoning mix, ensuring all sides of the chicken are coated.
  • Place the chicken on a rack over a baking sheet and sprinkle the remaining seasoning on top.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 170°F. For extra crispiness, broil for 2 to 3 minutes at the end.
