Description

Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Chicken broth
  • Cream cheese (softened)
  • Fresh chives (chopped)
  • Paprika
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika; sear in olive oil for 2-3 minutes until golden.
  • Sauté minced garlic in the skillet for 30 seconds, then add chicken broth and reduce for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add softened cream cheese to the skillet, stirring to create a smooth sauce, and mix in chopped chives.
  • Place seared chicken in the baking dish and pour the cream cheese mixture over it; add optional cheddar cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.
  • Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving; garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
For best results, use softened cream cheese for a smooth sauce.
Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
