Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika; sear in olive oil for 2-3 minutes until golden.
- Sauté minced garlic in the skillet for 30 seconds, then add chicken broth and reduce for 1-2 minutes.
- Add softened cream cheese to the skillet, stirring to create a smooth sauce, and mix in chopped chives.
- Place seared chicken in the baking dish and pour the cream cheese mixture over it; add optional cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving; garnish with fresh parsley.
