Description

Cajun Chicken Loaded Fries are a flavor-packed delight featuring spicy chicken, crispy fries, and melted cheese. Ideal for gatherings or a comforting snack!


Ingredients

  • Frozen Steak Fries (1 bag – 28 ounces)
  • Cajun Seasoning (2 tablespoons, divided)
  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (2 pieces)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Monterey Jack Cheese (1 cup, shredded)
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese (1 cup, shredded)
  • Mayonnaise (¼ cup)
  • Sour Cream (1 tablespoon)
  • Whole Milk (1 tablespoon)
  • Hot Sauce (1 teaspoon + more for drizzling)
  • Garlic Powder (½ teaspoon)
  • Chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare baking sheet with fries.
  • Toss chicken pieces with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning in a bowl.
  • Bake fries according to package instructions (20–25 minutes).
  • Cook chicken in olive oil over medium heat until no longer pink (5–7 minutes).
  • Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, remaining Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, and garlic powder for the sauce.
  • Layer cooked chicken over fries, then top with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  • Drizzle with sauce and garnish with chives before serving.

Notes

For crispy fries, spread them out evenly on the baking sheet.
You can prep chicken and sauce in advance to save time.
Feel free to substitute cheese or switch up spices based on preference.
