Ingredients

- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (1 cup, 85 g)
- Fine Sea Salt (¼ teaspoon)
- Vanilla Extract (½ teaspoon for brownie, 2 teaspoons for cheesecake)
- Large Eggs (2 for brownie, 4 for cheesecake)
- All-Purpose Flour (½ cup, 62 g)
- Cream Cheese (24 ounces, 680 g)
- Light Brown Sugar (½ cup, 100 g)
- Heavy Cream (¼ cup, 60 ml)
- Caramel Sauce (½ cup)
- Optional: Drizzle additional caramel on top and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a springform pan.
- Mix melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and sea salt in a bowl; add vanilla and eggs one by one, then fold in flour.
- Pour brownie batter into the pan and bake for 15 minutes; allow to cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugars, cream, and eggs, mixing until combined; stir in vanilla.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie base; tap to remove air bubbles and bake for 55-60 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool in oven with door ajar for 10 minutes; chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Remove from springform pan, drizzle with caramel, and serve.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend.
Make sure cream cheese is softened at room temperature before mixing.
