Chilli Garlic Butter Roasted Cabbage Wedges are a comforting dish with irresistible flavors. This simple recipe features roasted cabbage with garlic, butter, and a hint of chili, making it a perfect quick meal or delicious snack.
Ingredients
- Butter (4 tbsp, divided)
- Onion Powder (1 tsp)
- Garlic Powder (1 tsp + 1/4 tsp)
- Salt (1/2 tsp)
- Chilli Crisp (1 tbsp) or Dried Chilli Flakes (1 tsp)
- Sweetheart Cabbage (1)
- Panko Breadcrumbs (4 tbsp)
- Parsley (1 tbsp, chopped)
- Hazelnuts (1 tbsp, chopped, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the sweetheart cabbage into quarters.
- In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and chili crisp. Brush the mixture on cabbage wedges.
- Place the wedges cut-side down on a baking sheet. Roast for 20-35 minutes until charred and tender.
- Melt the remaining butter in a pan, add Panko and garlic powder, and toast until golden brown.
- Sprinkle the toasted breadcrumbs, hazelnuts, and parsley over the roasted cabbage. Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes before serving.
