Description

This Easy Sakura Latte combines the delicate flavors of cherry blossom syrup and matcha powder for an irresistible drink. Perfect for a quick refreshment, this flavorful latte is easy to prepare and is sure to impress anyone looking for a delightful homemade beverage.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk* (240 grams)
  • 4 teaspoons cherry blossom syrup*
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder*
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup cream, optional (60 grams)

Instructions

  • Sift the matcha powder in a small bowl using a fine mesh sieve.
  • Pour ¼ cup of hot water (170℉ or 80°C) over the matcha and whisk until foamy.
  • Add the remaining hot water and gently mix to combine.
  • In a jug or bowl, mix milk and cherry blossom syrup thoroughly.
  • Fill two large glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour in the Sakura milk.
  • Slowly pour the matcha tea on top to create distinct layers.
  • Optionally, add cream on top before serving.

Notes

Make sure to use high-quality matcha for the best flavor.
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of cherry blossom syrup.
