- 4 teaspoons cherry blossom syrup*
- 2 teaspoons matcha powder*
- ½ cup hot water
- ¼ cup cream, optional (60 grams)
Instructions
- Sift the matcha powder in a small bowl using a fine mesh sieve.
- Pour ¼ cup of hot water (170℉ or 80°C) over the matcha and whisk until foamy.
- Add the remaining hot water and gently mix to combine.
- In a jug or bowl, mix milk and cherry blossom syrup thoroughly.
- Fill two large glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour in the Sakura milk.
- Slowly pour the matcha tea on top to create distinct layers.
- Optionally, add cream on top before serving.
