- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup shallot (finely diced)
- 10 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 cup demi-glace
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a large skillet until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes; keep warm.
- Sauté shallots in melted butter until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in demi-glace, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, sour cream, and Dijon mustard; mix well.
- Add cooked ground beef along with its juices; heat through for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve over egg noodles.
