Description

Homemade Shamrock Shakes offer a delightful blend of vanilla ice cream and refreshing mint flavor. Perfect for celebrations and quick treats alike!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 c. vanilla bean ice cream
  • 1 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mint extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 9 drops green food coloring
  • whipped cream, cherries, and fresh mint sprigs, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, mint extract, vanilla extract, and green food coloring.
  • Blend the mixture until it becomes thick and creamy, which takes about 30 seconds.
  • Divide the shake into 2 tall glasses.
  • Top with whipped cream, cherries, and fresh mint sprigs.

Notes

For an extra minty flavor, increase the mint extract to taste.
You can adjust the amount of green food coloring based on your preference for color.
These shakes are best enjoyed immediately after preparation.
