Description

This Hot Dog Chili brings together ground beef, crushed tomatoes, and a mix of spices for a flavor-packed experience. Perfect for family nights or summer barbecues!


Ingredients

  • Ground Beef (2 lbs)
  • Onion (1, diced)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz can)
  • Tomato Paste (2 tablespoons)
  • Chili Powder (1 ½ tablespoons)
  • Ground Cumin (1 teaspoon)
  • Smoked Paprika (1 teaspoon)
  • Dried Oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • Garlic Powder (½ teaspoon)
  • Cayenne Pepper (¼ teaspoon)
  • White Sugar (1-2 teaspoons)
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  • Sauté ground beef, onion, and garlic in a Dutch oven until beef is browned.
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, cayenne, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
  • Serve warm over hot dogs and add desired toppings.

Notes
