Description

This Lobster Tail in Irresistible Garlic Butter is a mouthwatering dish that combines tender lobster with rich garlic butter. It’s simple to prepare, making it an ideal option for a quick dinner or special occasion. Perfect for food lovers who enjoy fresh seafood and exquisite flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
  • 0.5 tsp paprika for color
  • 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
  • 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish

Instructions

  • Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
  • Gently pry the meat upward while keeping it attached at the base and rest it atop the split shell. Pat dry with paper towels.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once it begins to foam, whisk in the garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
  • Sear the lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes while spooning the butter over the tops as they cook.
  • Flip the lobster tails and finish cooking shell-side down for another 1–2 minutes until the meat is firm but still springs back when touched.
  • Squeeze the lemon wedges directly over the lobster tails in the pan.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.

Notes

For best results, use fresh lobster tails and make sure they are properly thawed before cooking.
Adjust seasoning according to personal preference; fresh garlic can be used instead of garlic powder for a stronger flavor.
