Description

Enjoy these Pizza Pinwheels, filled with gooey cheese, spicy pepperoni, and savory marinara. Quick to make and perfect for gatherings, they are delicious munchies for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
  • 32 pepperoni slices
  • 2 tsp parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out pizza dough to about ¼–⅓ inch thick on a cutting board.
  • Spread marinara sauce across the dough, leaving an inch clear at one long edge.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the sauce.
  • Add mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni on top.
  • Roll the dough into a tight log and slice into pinwheels.
  • Place pinwheels on the baking sheet and bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

Allow pinwheels to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
For crispier bottoms, place baking sheet on a preheated pizza stone.
Experiment with different cheeses for various flavors.
