Description

Ingredients

  • Unsalted Butter (115 g)
  • White Cheddar Cheese (170 g, shredded)
  • Sweet Italian Sausage (225 g)
  • Celery (2 large ribs, finely chopped)
  • Yellow Onion (1 small, finely chopped)
  • Garlic Cloves (4, minced)
  • Fresh Parsley (2 tablespoons, finely chopped, plus extra for garnish)
  • Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Seasoned Stuffing Mix (1/2 box, approx. 85 g)
  • Water (120 ml)
  • Refrigerated Flaky Biscuit Dough (1 tube)
  • Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned, adding celery and onion. Cook until softened, then add garlic.
  • Mix the stuffing ingredients in the skillet, then stir in cheese and parsley, seasoning to taste.
  • Combine softened butter with parsley for flavor.
  • Assemble biscuit halves, spreading parsley butter and stuffing mixture, then stack in the pan.
  • Dollop remaining butter on top and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden.
  • Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and cool for another 10 minutes.

Notes

For dietary preferences, substitute with gluten-free biscuit dough or plant-based sausage.
Ensure sausage is browned but not overcooked to maintain moisture.
Chop vegetables finely for seamless integration into the filling.
