Ingredients
- Unsalted Butter (115 g)
- White Cheddar Cheese (170 g, shredded)
- Sweet Italian Sausage (225 g)
- Celery (2 large ribs, finely chopped)
- Yellow Onion (1 small, finely chopped)
- Garlic Cloves (4, minced)
- Fresh Parsley (2 tablespoons, finely chopped, plus extra for garnish)
- Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
- Seasoned Stuffing Mix (1/2 box, approx. 85 g)
- Water (120 ml)
- Refrigerated Flaky Biscuit Dough (1 tube)
- Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned, adding celery and onion. Cook until softened, then add garlic.
- Mix the stuffing ingredients in the skillet, then stir in cheese and parsley, seasoning to taste.
- Combine softened butter with parsley for flavor.
- Assemble biscuit halves, spreading parsley butter and stuffing mixture, then stack in the pan.
- Dollop remaining butter on top and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden.
- Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and cool for another 10 minutes.
