Description

These Rice Krispie Treats for Valentine are a delightful and easy dessert, perfect for showing love. With sticky marshmallows binding crunchy Rice Krispies, topped with drizzled white chocolate, they are simple to prepare and oh-so-tasty.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 tablespoon butter unsalted
  • 12 ounce mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 5 ounce white chocolate melts melted
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, then add the marshmallows and lower the heat.
  • Stir constantly to prevent sticking until the mixture is melted.
  • Remove from heat and quickly mix in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the lined pan and press down evenly. Use butter or parchment paper on your hands to avoid sticking.
  • Cool in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes, then cut into pieces as desired.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl, either in the microwave or over a double boiler, adding food coloring if desired.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool slightly, then transfer to a piping bag and drizzle over the treats, adding sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Feel free to add your favorite sprinkles for a festive touch!
Ensure to stir the mixture continuously to achieve a smooth and sticky texture.
Storing these treats in an airtight container will keep them fresh for several days.
