Instructions
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy.
- Beat in egg, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients without overmixing.
- Chill dough wrapped in plastic wrap for at least one hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll out dough and cut into shapes.

- Cool on a wire rack, and prepare frosting.
