- 12 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 6 ounces semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil or coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2–3 regular-sized candy canes (roughly 24–36g total), crushed
Instructions
- Prepare the pan by lining it with parchment paper or foil.
- Melt 6 ounces of white chocolate with 1/2 teaspoon of oil, add 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract, and pour into the pan; chill for 10-15 minutes.
- Melt semi-sweet chocolate with 1/2 teaspoon of oil, add remaining peppermint extract, and pour over the set white chocolate; chill for another 10-15 minutes.
- Melt the remaining white chocolate, pour over the semi-sweet layer, and sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
- Chill until firm (about 1 hour), then cut or break into pieces.
