Description

These Valentine strawberry yogurt bites are a perfect blend of fresh strawberries and creamy yogurt, topped with crunchy granola. Simple to make and irresistibly delicious, they’re ideal for a quick sweet treat or a healthy dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup granola, more for topping
  • 1 cup yogurt of choice
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • ¾ cup fresh strawberries, sliced or chopped
  • ¼ cup granola, smaller pieces work better

Instructions

  • Line a 12-cup muffin pan with muffin liners or use a 12-cup silicone baking pan.
  • Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of granola into the bottom of each cup. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix yogurt and diced strawberries. Mash the strawberries into the yogurt until mostly combined with some chunks remaining.
  • Use a spatula to stir and fold until well mixed.
  • Spoon 2 tablespoons of the strawberry yogurt mixture into each cup, creating an even layer. Tap the pan to level it out.
  • Press about 1 tablespoon of sliced strawberries into the tops of each cup.
  • Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of granola over the strawberries.
  • Place the pan in the freezer and chill until firm, about 2-4 hours.
  • Pop out each frozen yogurt bite and let them thaw for a few minutes before enjoying.

Notes

These yogurt bites can be made in advance and stored in the freezer for a quick snack.
Feel free to substitute yogurt flavors or other fruits to customize your bites.
Using a silicone pan facilitates easy removal of the yogurt bites.
